A different kind of precious metal
In 1958, Tudor introduced the reference 7924, an important early dive watch nicknamed the Big Crown. Its substantial winding crown and 200-meter water resistance helped establish the design language that would influence generations of Tudor diving watches.
The Black Bay Fifty-Eight takes its name from that year, revisiting the proportions and distinctive details of Tudor's early underwater instruments.
In 2021, Tudor introduced an unexpected interpretation: the Black Bay Fifty-Eight 925. Rather than using conventional stainless steel or gold, Tudor chose sterling silver, giving the watch an unusual identity within the modern dive-watch category.
Its satin-finished silver case, muted taupe dial and matching bezel create an understated appearance that differs considerably from the conventional black-and-gilt Black Bay. Inside, the manufacture Calibre MT5400 delivers chronometer-certified precision and approximately 70 hours of power reserve.
