Rolex Lady-Datejust

Graceful elegance
'A classic timepiece, designed for a lady.' This is how some may describe our Oyster Perpetual Lady‑Datejust. Maybe they’re right. Since the early 20th century, Rolex has designed and crafted watches suited for the wrists of every woman, with the same standard of excellence as all the models that have built its legend. So, if “classic” means always pursuing a higher standard, if it means perpetuating tradition while combining elegance with precision, grace with resistance, beauty with performance... then the Lady-Datejust is, indeed, a classic timepiece designed for a lady.

Pioneering women have always been a keystone in the history of Rolex.
Since the earliest days of the brand, they have inspired the creation and development of special timepieces that would support their quest for empowerment. The Lady-Datejust is a celebration of those who dare to lead the way. It embodies precision while combining classic elegance and technical performance.

Perpetual caliber 2236

The Lady-Datejust is equipped with caliber 2236, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. Its architecture makes it exceptionally precise and reliable. Caliber 2236 is fitted with a Syloxi hairspring in silicon, patented and manufactured by Rolex. Resistant to magnetic fields, the Syloxi hairspring provides great stability in the face of temperature variations. Its patented geometry ensures its regularity in any position.

Superlative Chronometer certification

Superlative Chronometer certification

The Oyster Perpetual 41 is covered by the Superlative Chronometer certification. This exclusive designation is issued to each watch leaving the Rolex workshops, attesting to its excellent performance on the wrist. This in-house certification is strictly controlled by internationally recognized, independent Swiss entities.

In 2026, the Superlative Chronometer certification has been strengthened with the addition of three new testing criteria: resistance to magnetism, reliability and sustainability. These criteria are implemented throughout the design and manufacturing stages of each timepiece – hundreds of checks and validations directly related to the watch’s performance are carried out during these phases. They supplement the criteria established when the certification was redefined in 2015 governing precision, waterproofness, self-winding and power reserve. That year, Rolex set up an exclusive testing protocol for its finished watches, conducted inside the manufacture on fully automated equipment. The precision requirements are particularly stringent: measured after casing the movement, the watch’s accuracy must be between –2 and +2 seconds per day. The rate deviation tolerated by the brand for the precision of a finished watch is significantly smaller than that accepted for official certification of the movement alone.

The Superlative Chronometer status is symbolized by the green seal that comes with every Rolex watch and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.
