Engineered for the deep
Tudor's diving-watch history began in 1954 with the Oyster Prince Submariner. Over subsequent decades, the brand developed robust underwater instruments used by professional divers and naval organizations.
The Pelagos, introduced in 2012, represents a contemporary expression of that heritage. Rather than reproducing a vintage watch, Tudor created a modern diving instrument built around titanium, exceptional underwater legibility and practical innovations.
In 2015, the second-generation Pelagos M25600 introduced Tudor's manufacture Calibre MT5612. The movement brought COSC chronometer certification and a 70-hour power reserve to the collection.
With its 500-meter water resistance, helium escape valve and patented bracelet-extension system, the Pelagos is a watch whose design is closely tied to its intended purpose.
