Breitling Chronomat 44

A chronograph that helped redefine Breitling

In 1984, as quartz watches dominated the industry, Breitling introduced a new mechanical Chronomat developed in collaboration with the Italian aerobatic team Frecce Tricolori. Its substantial case, rotating bezel and distinctive rider tabs established a design language that would become central to Breitling's modern identity.

A quarter-century later, the Chronomat became the vehicle for another important milestone: the introduction of Breitling's first fully in-house-developed and manufactured chronograph movement, Calibre B01, in 2009.

Reference CB0110 brings that movement into a substantial two-tone case, combining the technical character of a professional aviation chronograph with the warmth of gold. Its prominent rider-tab bezel, three-register dial and substantial construction are characteristic of Breitling's early manufacture-movement era.
