The Chicago Collection is an exclusive CD Peacock collection inspired by the city that has shaped our story for nearly two centuries. Each design draws from the architecture, landmarks, neighborhoods, and unmistakable character of Chicago, transforming elements of the city into jewelry meant to be worn, celebrated, and passed down for generations.
Why did CD Peacock create The Chicago Collection?
Chicago has been more than our home—it has been part of our identity since the beginning. CD Peacock was founded in 1837, the same year Chicago was incorporated as a city. The Chicago Collection was created to honor that shared history while giving our clients a way to celebrate their own connection to Chicago through jewelry that feels personal, timeless, and distinctly of this city.
What inspired the designs?
Inspiration can be found throughout Chicago: in the geometry of its skyline, the details of its architecture, the rhythm of its streets, and the individual character of its neighborhoods. Our designers translated those influences into refined details that reward a closer look. The result is a collection that feels unmistakably Chicago without simply reproducing its landmarks.

Who designed The Chicago Collection?
The collection was developed by CD Peacock's in-house design team. Drawing inspiration from Chicago's architecture and culture, the designers focused on creating thoughtful details that feel both evocative and elegant. The goal was not simply to create jewelry named for Chicago, but to design pieces that genuinely carry something of the city within them.
When did The Chicago Collection launch?
The Chicago Collection debuted in May 2024 alongside the opening of The CD Peacock Mansion at Oakbrook Center—a new chapter for CD Peacock and a fitting setting for a collection celebrating our Chicago heritage.
Does the collection include engagement rings and wedding bands?
Yes. The Chicago Collection includes engagement rings and wedding bands designed to celebrate life's most meaningful moments. While bridal is at the heart of the collection, these designs can also be chosen to commemorate an anniversary, milestone, or personal connection to Chicago.
What metals are available?
Designs are available in 14k and 18k yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold. Platinum and other precious-metal options are also available through custom order.
Can I customize a ring from The Chicago Collection?
Absolutely. The Chicago Collection was designed with personalization in mind. You can explore different precious metals, diamond shapes and sizes, and other design details. In some cases, elements from different designs can even be combined to create a ring that is uniquely yours.
How long does a custom ring take?
Many customizations involving diamond size, shape, quantity, quality, or metal color can be completed in approximately 3–4 weeks. More complex custom designs may require 4–6 weeks. Your CD Peacock consultant will guide you through the process and provide a timeline specific to your ring.
What sizes are available?
Rings from The Chicago Collection can be ordered in virtually any finger size. Your CD Peacock consultant can help determine the ideal fit and discuss any considerations specific to your chosen design.
What is the price range?
Solitaire engagement ring settings start at $1,295, excluding the center diamond, while wedding bands start at $550. Pricing varies based on design, precious metal, diamonds, and customization.
Where can I see The Chicago Collection?
The Chicago Collection is exclusive to CD Peacock and can be explored at The CD Peacock Mansion at Oakbrook Center and our Woodfield Mall location. Our bridal specialists can introduce you to the collection and help you find or create the design that best tells your story.
Do I need an appointment?
An appointment is recommended for the most personalized bridal experience, but it is not required. You are always welcome to visit either CD Peacock location and explore the collection.
What services are included with my bridal purchase?
CD Peacock offers lifetime complimentary cleanings, prong checks, insurance appraisal, and additional services with bridal purchases, helping you care for the jewelry that will accompany you through a lifetime of milestones.
