Description

The Seamaster Orange Ceramic has a brushed and polished 43.50 mm case crafted from 950-grade platinum with a bi-directional rotating bezel whose polished ring is made from orange ceramic, a world premiere. The striking wristwatch has been produced in an initial edition limited to only eight pieces, a testimony to the challenge and complexity of creating the Seamaster Orange Ceramic.

Adding to the watch’s striking appearance are the Liquidmetal™ numerals, 24-hour division lines and triangle on the bezel. The watch features an integrated orange leather strap with platinum stitching and a 950-grade platinum foldover clasp.

An additional orange rubber strap is also delivered with it along with a special tool to change it. This timepiece is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 8615, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.

Features

• Bi‑directional rotating bezel

  A bezel which can be turned clockwise or anti-clockwise. Rotating bezels can be used to time events, measure elapsed times, or read second or third time zones.

• Chronometer

  Label given to a watch which has undergone precision tests and received a certificate from an official body (COSC).

• Date

  The day of the month, displayed in a window on a watch dial at the 3 or 6 o’clock position, or within a subdial at 9 o'clock.

• Screw‑in crown

  Self-locking crown, screwed into the tube of the case, used for highly water resistant divers' watches.

• Time zone function

  Allows the hour hand to be easily adjusted to different time zones without stopping the watch.

• Transparent case back

  A transparent case back - frequently made of sapphire - makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.
